Why Text Changes Between Applications
Arabic copy can look correct in one editor and change after being pasted into Word, Excel, WhatsApp, or a social platform. Each application applies the Unicode bidirectional algorithm within a different paragraph, alignment, and formatting context.

Arabic Direction in Microsoft Word
Set the paragraph direction to right-to-left and choose the appropriate alignment. When a sentence contains a URL, code, currency, or English name, alignment alone may not solve the order; invisible direction guidance may also be required.
Arabic Text in Excel
Separate important data into columns when possible and set worksheet or cell direction deliberately. A single cell combining an invoice number, Arabic customer name, and English product code is especially likely to display confusingly.
WhatsApp and Social Platforms
Many apps infer line direction from the first strong character. A line intended to be Arabic may begin with a URL and display left-to-right. Start with Arabic text or use a corrected version containing suitable directional marks.
